Lump Breakers - Information

Designed to provide a simple, rugged, economical means of reducing compacted materials into a smaller granulated product. This unit can be used to reduce natural agglomerations which can occur during storage or shipping, or to reduce deliberately compacted materials. The Prater Flake and Cake Breaker has features that include: counter-rotating dual shafts, outboard bearings, and direct coupled drive. A wide variety of products can be processed on the Flake Breaker including: chemicals, mineral, salt, sugar, ceramic powders, etc.

Sugar 6x (FB-8) This sugar grinding system located in a plant of one of the country’s largest candy mfr. is capable of grinding 1,800 lbs/hr of 6x sugar (=43,200 lbs/day).
